Northwest Navigators at Northwest Georgia Bank’s Fort Oglethorpe branch raised more than $450 last Friday to benefit Catoosa Citizens for Animal Care (CCAC). The branch hosted Dr. Britt Schaffeld from The Animal Medical Center in Fort Oglethorpe, and he provided free pet care tips and advice, while CCAC had several adoptable pets on hand. Navigators led by branch manager Jeff Weeks coordinated a baked goods and hotdog sale, with all proceeds benefitting CCAC. Northwest Navigators are Northwest Georgia Bank employees, families and friends dedicated to improving Chattanooga and north Georgia communities through volunteerism and donating thousands of community service hours annually to dozens of area non-profits.
