Boynton Elementary held its annual spelling bee for fourth- and fifth-grade students on Feb. 3. Each class in those grade levels held a classroom spelling bee with two winners. Those classroom winners then participated in the school-wide spelling bee.
In fourth grade, Bryce Bird and Abby Smith were the winner and runner-up, respectively.
In fifth grade, Jennie Williams and Austin Campbell were the winner and runner-up, respectively. The winners will represent Boynton at the county-wide spelling bee to be held at Tiger Creek Elementary later this month.
