The Ringgold baseball team is now 2-0 in the Scenic City Classic, held this weekend at Engel Stadium in Chattanooga.

The Tigers are now 5-1 overall going into Saturday's action. They defeated McCallie, 5-1, on Thursday and Rockdale, 3-1, on Friday.

Junior 6-foot-6, 215-pounder Kyle Heckathorn struck out 11 and allowed seven hits to get his second win of the season. He also had three singles at the plate against the Blue Tornadoes.

Senior Phillip Arthur lead the Tigers with a triple and a double.

Graham Ware also doubled.

On Thursday, junior ace Thoma Gray dazzled Riverdale in Ringgold's 3-1 win over Riverdale.
