The head custodians from each of the seventeen schools of Catoosa County Public Schools had their back-to-school training recently at the Board of Education. This required meeting is used to discuss cleaning protocols, employee and student safety concerns and a variety of other state mandated topics.

One topic that was discussed in depth was the proactive approach in place dealing with the impending H1N1 influenza this fall. All of the hands-on training was provided by the staff of Kelsan, Catoosa County Public School’s new custodian supplies vendor.

Kelsan brings a strong commitment to the very successful green cleaning program that currently exists in the school system. “The staff at Kelsan is very excited and energetic about our green cleaning program. They bring a wealth of expertise and experience in this area and we are excited about this new partnership” said Paul Acuff, Environmental Services manager, Catoosa County Public Schools.
