Two Naomi Elementary School students received bicycles for perfect attendance. Jesse Tomlin, left, is in Mr. Wilkee’s third-grade class and Adriana Turner, second from right, is in Ms. Parker’s kindergarten class. Their names were drawn from all the students with perfect attendance. The LaFayette Optimist Club is a WACOPEP partner with Naomi Elementary School and presents eight bicycles during the school year. With the students are Ken Loggins of the Optimist Club and John Parker, principal of Naomi Elementary.

Congratulations to all the children who had perfect attendance for the year. When I graduated from Gordon Lee in the 90's I had perfect attendance from kindergarten through 12th grade. Guess what I received? A piece of paper! Wow..shows how much they appreciated my being there everyday!
