Chik-fil-A provides lunch for environmental education students
Baseline data was recently collected by students in the Environmental Education Park located on the campus of Heritage High School. Environmental science students of Jack Leather were involved in an activity that involved hydrology studies, birds and plants and a variety of GPS locations for the recently installed piezometers. Sydney Slaven of our local Chik-fil-A restaurant was able to provide a wonderful lunch for the participants. “Chik-fil-A is one of our system partners and has always been willing to help the school system in whatever manner possible. We are very thankful for their contribution to the school system and their commitment to the environment as well.” Buffy Hemphill, partnership coordinator for Catoosa County public schools.
