The engagement of Leona E. Blevins and Roger W. Boydston is announced.

The future bride is the daughter of Eldon and Rosia Beavers, deceased, formerly of Chatsworth. The parents of the future groom are Mary and Bill Hughes of Trenton and Raymond Boydston, deceased, formerly of Trenton.

Brothers and sisters of the bride are Michael Hall, deceased, formerly from Chatsworth, Angela Hall of Ellijay, Sharon and Rick Purcell of Ark., Lisa and Joe Perillo of N.Y. and Mark and Vonna Beavers of Chatsworth.

The bride is a graduate of Dalton State College and is employed by North Georgia Medical Center in Ellijay as a medical laboratory scientist.

Brothers and sisters of the groom are Dale Boydston of Trenton, Missy and Bob Cloud of Trenton and Marsha and Japi Lynch of Rising Fawn. He is employed by Advanced Vending in Fort Oglethorpe.

A private ceremony at a family home in Trenton is planned for April 6, at 2 p.m.
