Blair Herndon and Greg Eacret will marry Oct. 5 at 6:30 p.m. at Sunrise Farm in Trenton, Ga.

The future bride is the daughter of Happy and Trish Schimpf of Ringgold and Dale and Marquita Herndon of Rome, Ga. She is the granddaughter of Raleigh and Vira Garnto of Valdosta, Ga., Essie Herndon of Forsyth, Ga. and the late Calvin Herndon also of Forsyth.

She is a 2002 graduate of Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe High School. She graduated in 2007 from Georgia Northwestern Technical College with a degree in cosmetology and again in 2010 with a degree in business. The bride-elect is a stylist at Journey Hair Salon in Rossville and works as an assistant wedding/event planner at A Beautiful Celebration in Chattanooga.

The future groom is the son of Derrel and Carol Kirk of Trenton and Mel and Michelle Limberick of Mine Run, Va. He is also a 2002 graduate of Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe High School and works at Pinkerton Government Services at the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant in Soddy Daisy, Tenn. He is also a member of the Army National Guard, Charlie Troop 1st/108th Cavalry.
