JJK Security in Ringgold didn’t have to go to Hollywood to make it big. Hollywood came to them and moved right in.

According to AMC’s website, film crews became “a fly on the wall” of local Ringgold business JJK Security & Investigations, owned by Joan Koplan, in order to film their new original series, “Small Town Security.”

The first episode is set to premiere Sunday, July 15, at 11 p.m. on AMC.

The website’s preview of the new show describes it as what appears to be a typical smalltown security business at first glance, but things are actually a little unusual, unscripted and even comical.

“Employees at JJK take security very seriously,” reads the website,” but they are also a band of self-proclaimed social misfits who bicker like siblings, make fun of each other like old friends and consider it destiny that they’ve managed to find each other.”
