COMMUNITY · Casey and Son Horseshoeing School will hold its 23rd annual spring fling and open house May 2-6. This family event is free to horse owners and will help visitors learn what best suits them and their horses. Free trimming and shoeing will be offered. Other services offered include dentistry, massage, saddle fit, magnetic ther-apy, hoof repair, nutrition information and evaluations from head to hoof using a thermal image camera. This year’s book of choice is “The House on Tradd Street,” written by novelist Karen White, who will be making a guest appearance Wednesday, May 2, at 6 p.m. at The Learning Center in Ringgold.
