In conjunction with National Volunteer Week and Earth Day, Erlanger at Hutcheson will host a Beautification Day. On Saturday, April 28 at the main campus in Fort Oglethorpe, hospital employees and community members, with rakes and shovels in hand, are encouraged to prepare for a day of volunteering. The goal is to refurbish the interior hospital courtyards and gardens, providing a comfortable, soothing atmosphere for hospital visitors, patients and employees.

“As a day of giving back to our hospital, we are excited about our upcoming Beautification Day,” said Roger Forgey, president and CEO of Erlanger at Hutcheson. “We take pride in the care we deliver to North Georgia and this project allows us to create a pleasing environment for our employees and the community to enjoy.”

The day will be organized around two shifts of volunteers, 9 a.m. to noon and noon to 3 p.m. For information about the event or to volunteer, call 706-858-2075.
