You can enjoy all this and more at this year’s Spoil Me 2012, a lifestyle event for women at the Northwest Georgia Trade and Convention Center in Dalton on May 6, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
You’ll also be able to get the latest health care news and advice and be pampered by select spa and salon providers, plus enjoy live classes and a charity purse auction to benefit domestic violence shelters in Dalton and Chattanooga.
The featured guest is Aletia DuPree, former owner of the landmark BJ’s Restaurant in Calhoun, Ga. Aletia will speak on her life before becoming an author and speaker. She recently announced the release of “Deliciously Southern: Southern Recipes and a Tour of the South.”
Stage presentations will occur every half-hour, including yoga, zumba, belly dancing, singing by Tekelia Kelly, harp music by Betty Spencer and more. The Chattanooga Aerials will perform twice, with solo and duo performances. Private seminars will also be available every half-hour. Proceeds from the event will go to Chattanooga Room in the Inn, to homeless shelters for women and children and to Providence Ministries women’s funds, where domestic abuse shelters and rehab programs are offered for women in need.

Tickets are $10 online at www.spoilme2012.com or $15 on the day of the event. Special services tickets are $20 online or $25 on event day. Special services include two pampering services and one seminar of choice, like dance lessons, chef instructions, yoga, Pilates and more.
