Cobb nabs second straight AAC weekly tennis award

Reinhardt University men’s tennis player Tyler Cobb was named the Appalachian Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week for their play from April 9-15.

It marks the second consecutive week that the LaFayette High alum has earned the honor.

The junior went 2-0 at both No. 1 doubles and No. 3 singles as Reinhardt won two road matches last week. On the season, he is 7-4 in singles and 6-5 in doubles.

The Reinhardt men’s team is 4-7 overall and 2-0 in the AAC. Reinhardt plays AAC matches at Tennessee Wesleyan College on Monday, starting at 2 p.m. in Athens, Tenn.
