Reinhardt University men’s tennis player Tyler Cobb was named the Appalachian Athletic Conference Player of the Week for April 2-8. It marks the first time Cobb has earned the weekly conference honor.

Cobb, a 5-foot-9, 225-pound junior and graduate of LaFayette High School, went 1-1 at No. 2 doubles and 1-1 at No. 3 singles as Reinhardt played two non-conference matches on the road last week. His losses came against opponents from Shorter University, which is ranked 25th nationally in the NAIA. On the season, Cobb is 5-4 in singles and 4-5 in doubles.

The Reinhardt men’s team ended the week 2-7 overall and 1-0 in the AAC.
