According to the Fort Oglethorpe Police Department:
Sid Timothy Snoody, 27, of 2056 WN 53 Road Place in Chicago, was arrested on Monday, April 9, on charges of possession of marijuana less than an ounce, speeding, and driving on a suspended license.
The traffic stop took place along Cloud Springs Road, at which time Snoody presented an Illinois driver’s license and told police that he was a student in Oklahoma, reports show.
“I then ran Mr. Snoody’s information by name and date of birth through the state of Oklahoma, and was advised by Catoosa County 911 that he was suspended through Oklahoma,” officer Michael Cannon wrote in the report.
Snoody was then placed under arrest.
After being transported to Catoosa County jail, Snoody was checked for contraband and weapons, at which time officers found a small clear plastic bag containing marijuana in his left rear pocket, reports show.
The marijuana was placed into evidence and Snoody was booked without further incident.
