The sex acts are believed to have occurred multiple times over a period of several years.
According to the Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office:
Richard Eugene Reaves, 54, of Cow Trail in Tunnel Hill was arrested Thursday, March 29. He is being held in the Catoosa County jail without bond.
The arrest was initiated after police received a complaint from a “mandated reporter,” Capt. Scott Jordan said.
“We fielded the complaint and he was arrested the same day,” Jordan said.
“Mandated reporters” are professionals such as teachers or nurses, who are required by law to report any ob-served or suspected abuse to the proper authorities.
