Josh Kring (far left), director of photography, and Kim Correll (far right), director/producer, shoot scenes for “The Mission of Joseph Standing,” the final episode in “The History of Catoosa County,” a documentary featuring influential historical events and places in Catoosa County. Produced by ferroMedia, a division of Ringgold Telephone Company, the five-year project includes six episodes: “The Old Stone Church,” “The Ringgold Depot,” “The Whitman-Anderson House,” “The Battle of Ringgold Gap,” “Native American History” and “The Mission of Joseph Standing.” Sponsors for the project include City of Ringgold, Northwest Georgia Bank, Bec-Don, Weeks & Peters Insurance, Gateway Bank and Blood Assurance. The DVD is available at Ringgold Telephone Company for $15. All proceeds will fund The Evitt Foundation, a non-profit organization that promotes child welfare and education in the community.
