Authorities seized more than a half-million dollars in property and cash in a drug raid in Walker County last week, they said Thursday. But they gave few other details.

According to a news release from district attorney Herbert “Buzz” Franklin:

The Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force served three search warrants on Feb. 28.

An ongoing investigation utilized federal, state and local law enforcement officers in the raid, which obtained evidence and nearly $600,000 in property and currency.

The investigation is ongoing and arrests are pending at the conclusion of the investigation.

According to the Walker County clerk of courts office, the search warrants have been sealed and locked in a safe, as requested by the district attorney’s office.
