COMMUNITY · The Catoosa County Chamber of Commerce will host their annual meeting Jan. 12 at 11:50 a.m. at the Colonnade Civic Center. The leadership of the Chamber will pass from Dr. Mindy McCannon, vice president of academic affairs at Georgia Northwestern Technical College, to Steve Anglea with Georgia Power. McCannon will present the 2011 annual report and Anglea will present the 2012 program of work. McCannon and retiring board members will be recognized. Cost of the luncheon is $30 general admission and $15 for chamber members.

ENTERTAINMENT · The Share America Foundation will host award-winning guitarist and singer Wesley Crider and Dana Russell on Friday, Jan. 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the Ringgold Depot, corner of Depot Street and U.S. 41 in Ring-gold. Randall Franks from TV’s “In the Heat of the Night” will emcee. The event is a fundraiser for the Pearl and Floyd Franks Scholarship Fund helping musicians achieve higher education. Donations for tickets are adults: $5, Children 5 and under free with adult.
