ENTERTAINMENT ·Boynton Baptist Church will host “A SingAkademie Christmas” with guests Phil Cross and Crossing Tuesday, Dec. 20, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. ENTERTAINMENT · The Rock City Gardens Enchanted Garden of Lights is open until Dec. 31, from 6 to 9 p.m. nightly. Chosen as an ABA Top 100 Event for 2010 and a Top 20 Event by Southeast Tourism Society, this light ex-travaganza features more than 30 holiday scenes and over a million lights that transform the gardens’ natural day-time splendor into a fantasyland. Enjoy gingerbread cookie decorating, hot cocoa and nightly entertainment. COMMUNITY · The Ringgold Middle School State Special Olympics basketball fundraiser will be held Wednes-day, Dec. 21, at Ringgold Middle School, beginning at 12:10 p.m. Special Olympic athletes from all three Catoosa County middle schools and all three Catoosa County high schools will participate. Admission will be $1 to watch the games, but any donations are welcome as the April storm has depleted supplies and extra funds. All donations collected will go to buy warm-ups and to pay for Special Olympic athletes to participate in the state competition Jan. 20-22 in Atlanta.
