Brilea is the daughter of Brian and April Simmons of Ringgold. She is the granddaughter of Rodney and Sheila Underwood of Rossville; the late Tony Keith Werline of Maysville, Ky.; and maternal grandparents Marty and Carla Black of Ringgold.
Great-grandparents are Betty Black and the late Thomas Black of Ringgold; Raymond Forester and the late Nancy Forester of Ringgold; Ola Long of Spring City, Tenn.; Linda Long of Rossville; and Kenneth and Imogen of Maysville, Ky.
