Andrea Vickery and Bradden Wheelus announce their upcoming marriage Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011, at 4 p.m. at the Gordon Lee Mansion in Chickamauga. Judge Vick Wells will officiate. Andrea is the daughter of Kathy and David Vickers. Bradden is the son of Patty and Allen Wheelus.

The ceremony will take place on the front porch of the mansion. Decorations will include white flower balls on shepherd’s hooks down the grass aisle leading to the front steps, and two large urns at the top of the steps with pink flower arrangements.

Monica Vickery, sister of the bride, will serve as maid of honor. The bride’s attendants will include Amanda Brown and Brooke Coley, both of Walker County, and Magin Wilson and Rachel Clark, both of Catoosa County.

Josh Wheelus, brother of the groom, will serve as best man. The groom’s attendants will include Kyle and Adam Wheelus of Gwinnett County, and Kevin Broadrick and Ed Clark, both of Catoosa County. The groomsmen will wear black suits with pink ties and pink boutonnieres. Bryson Wheelus of Catoosa County will serve as ring bearer.

The bride will be given in marriage by her father, David Vickery. She will wear a flowing ivory halter A-line dress with beadwork and a large train, and pink peep-toe heels. Her bouquet will be of pink flowers hand-tied with black ribbon.

The mother of the bride and mother of the groom will both wear black dresses and white-rose corsages.

The reception will be held in the garden at the Gordon Lee Mansion, with entertainment provided by DJ Sam. The bride’s cake will be a four-tier white cake with a black damask pattern and pink trim. The groom’s cake will be a two-tier chocolate cake with basket-weave icing and strawberries on top.

Following a weeklong honeymoon in Florida, the couple will reside in Ringgold.
