Both minor quakes occurred about four miles southwest of Ringgold, with the first striking at 3:57 a.m. Eastern time, and the second following behind at 4:26 a.m.
The first quake was charted to have a hypo-central depth of 6.3 miles, while the second occurred at a depth of 7.8 miles.
Both quakes were categorized as being in “poor” quality.
