The engagement of Alisha Danielle Raulston and Ray Jonathan Smith is announced today.

The future bride is the daughter of David and Kathy Raulston of Flintstone. She is the granddaughter of Katherine Parham and the late Ernest Parham of Flintstone and David and Lucy Raulston of Rossville.

The parents of the future bridegroom are Craig and Joyce Smith of Lafayette. He is the grandson of the late Robert Gunther, the late Claudia Gunther and the late Ray Smith, the late Frances Buchanan.

Raulston is a graduate of Ridgeland High School in Rossville. She received a bachelor's degree in health information management from the Medical College of Georgia. She is employed as a reimbursement and coding specialist by Erlanger Health System in Chattanooga.

Smith is a graduate of Ringgold High School in Ringgold. He received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of West Georgia. He is employed as operations manager of Mid-Atlantic Group - Landscaping and Irrigation, Inc. of Rock Spring.

Both the bride-elect and the bridegroom worship at the Rossville Church of Christ.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, Sept. 24, at the Rossville Church of Christ, where the bride-elect is a member.
