· The May meeting of the Walker County Historical Society will be the annual secret tour Sunday, May 22. The visit this year will be to an old pioneer home which is not normally open to the public. The group will meet at 2:30 p.m. at the LaFayette-Walker library to car pool to the site somewhere in Walker County. This event is for members, but membership is $10 per year and may be paid at the meeting.
· Lookout Baptist Church will have homecoming May 22 with worship service at 10:30 a.m. Lunch will follow in the Christian Life Center.
