The Georgia Department of Labor’s LaFayette Career Center will help Express Employment fill a number of jobs in northwest Georgia and the Chattanooga area on Wednesday, May 9, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the LaFayette Housing Authority Community Room at 300 South Oak St.

The company is hiring forklift operators, assembly-line workers, welders, material handlers, maintenance mechanics and heavy-duty laborers, as well as general office personnel.

Applicants are encouraged to bring their resumes to the recruitment. Most job openings require a high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).

Salaries will depend on job openings and applicants’ experience.
