· Between 8 a.m. and 6:09 p.m. on Friday, April 7, a forced-entry residential burglary occurred on Ga. 41 in Ringgold resulting in the theft of more than $1,700 worth of jewelry, electronics, and office equipment from the home.

The victim told police he arrived home to find that someone had entered the residence through a kitchen window and stole numerous items from within the house.

A 42-inch flat-screen television, laptop computer, camera, and several articles of jewelry were among the items reported missing.

The victim later contacted detectives and was able to provide serial number information for some of the items.

The case was turned over to detective Timothy Busby.

· Between 12:55 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 5, a forced-entry residential burglary occurred on Gem Drive in Rossville resulting in the theft of nearly $2,000 worth of jewelry from the home.

The victim told police that an someone broke the glass of the back door of the residence and then made off with a jewelry box containing multiple articles of jewelry.

A detailed list of the stolen items was submitted during the investigation, and the case was turned over to detective Timothy Busby.
