With a playful spirit and a personality that won’t stop, Tess is likely to steal your heart. She can make a bad day better with a single snuggle. Tess lives with Mr. and Mrs. Michael Pierce of LaFayette. “We’ve had bulldogs before, so we knew Tess would be easygoing and gentle with our children,” said Mrs. Pierce. The only thing she’s not so gentle with is woodwork. She loves to chew and wood is her favorite. At eight years of age, Tess takes life pretty easy, and that includes lots of naps. You don’t have to be in the same room to know if Tess is asleep; you just listen for the snoring. Despite their legacy of courage and fierce determination, Tess is proof that English bulldogs are lovers, not fighters.
